A Message from our CEO: COVID-19 Update

Our core value is Visibility and we take this very seriously – now more than ever.

With the global spread of COVID-19, we find ourselves in a time of uncertainty and concerns for our families and our communities. My heart goes out to all who have been impacted. We continue to monitor the situation closely and I wanted to share with you what we are doing at proteanTecs to make sure we can continuously support our customers, partners and employees while ensuring their safety. Our core value is Visibility and we take this very seriously – now more than ever.

The full impact of the Coronavirus has yet to be seen but the pandemic is already causing disruptions in the global electronics market and is likely to stunt growth in the short term. It may be a few months before things normalize and that may have significant ramifications for supply chains and the semiconductor ecosystem.Having said that, 30 years of experience have taught me that this industry is resilient and the bloom we have witnessed in the last couple of years will again stake a claim. I foresee an optimistic outlook with gradual but certain recovery. We should all be focusing now on preventing the spread of the virus and supporting the health and well-being of everyone around us.

I wanted to personally reach out to you and provide an update on the actions that proteanTecs has taken to guarantee uninterrupted business operation while ensuring the health and safety of our customers,partners and team:

  • We are following the World Health Guidelines in order to minimize risk to our staff and their families, including a pre-planned gradual transition to work-from-home operations
  • Roni Ashuri, proteanTecs COO, has been appointed Business Continuity (BC) manager, leading all tasks to minimize disruption to our business and our customers’ business
  • Our Technical and Customer Support functions are fully equipped to operate in both office and work-from-home environments, and all Support operations continue to be available 24/7 via multiple channels, including videoconferencing and chat
  • We are supporting relevant customers via VPN connections for continuous remote implementations
  • We are continually assessing our systems and policies to ensure we mitigate risks and manage through this challenging situation as effectively as possible

So while uncertainty becomes part of our new routine, we are doing everything in our power to make sure there is no disruption to our service. We are committed to providing our customers the best solutions through these wavering times. Experience from the early 2000’s recession and the economic crises of 2008 and 2011 has proven that proactive, agile companies with a clear-cut vision and long-term wind come out stronger.

We will continue to update on our activities and keep an open line of communication, transparency and Visibility. I thank you for your ongoing trust and am looking forward to continuing to advance electronics together.
