In this talk we present a hardware-based framework for real-time power and performance management of Agentic AI CPU data center chips. As Agentic AI drives server CPUs through increasingly dynamic and unpredictable operating conditions, conventional controls must rely on static guard bands and indirect telemetry.
proteanTecs solution continuously monitors margin to timing failure on millions of real logic paths during mission-mode operation. This telemetry enables workload-aware adaptive voltage scaling, allowing voltage guardbands to be reclaimed dynamically while preserving performance requirements.
We will also highlight the real-time protection layer which detects critically low timing margin and enables rapid corrective action, reducing reliance on conservative worst-case operating margins.
