We are looking for the best Senior Physical Design Application Engineer to join the ride as we spearhead the next revolution in electronics.

Location: Haifa and Tel-Aviv offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integration of proteanTecs innovative set of chip design IPs and EDA tools with the company customers
  • Accompany the integration of the IPs and the EDA tools that are related to synthesis/ place & route/ static timing analysis
  • Track the customer usage of the IPs and tools throughout the development cycle and manage customer requirements
  • Work closely with the company R&D teams in identifying and implementing new features
  • Customer engagements, educating and driving new solutions and novel concepts in the market


  • Industry experience of bringing designs from RTL to GDS
  • Successful experience in supporting EDA tools that are related to synthesis/ place & route/ static timing analysis
  • Profound experience in the development of advanced chips
  • Familiarity with both Cadence and Synopsys design tools and flows
  • Solid understanding of RTL code
  • Good level of verbal communication, having great interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Capable of analyzing, documenting and explaining complex processes and structures
  • Self-motivated and energized with a strong sense of ownership
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields
